About the Afro Unicorn Foundation:

The Afro Unicorn Foundation is dedicated to inspiring and empowering young girls by helping them recognize and celebrate their uniqueness, divinity, and magical qualities. We aim to foster an environment that promotes confidence, leadership, and entrepreneurship.


Summary:

As a Program Chapter Leader, you will oversee the local chapter of the Unique, Divine & Magical Young Ladies Empowerment Program, coordinating and managing all chapter activities, member recruitment, and community engagements. You will play a crucial role in shaping the experiences of young girls in your community, helping them develop their self-worth, leadership skills, and entrepreneurial spirit.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Delivery: Organize and conduct regular chapter meetings, workshops, and events focused on the program’s core themes: confidence building, mindset development, leadership skills, relationship building, and entrepreneurship.

  • Leadership: Provide guidance, motivation, and support to chapter members, fostering an inclusive and dynamic learning environment.

  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all chapter activities comply with the foundation's guidelines and policies. Regularly report chapter progress and challenges to the foundation's headquarters.

  • Member Management: Recruit new members and manage chapter membership, ensuring a welcoming and supportive community.

  • Training and Development: Participate in training provided by the Afro Unicorn Foundation and disseminate learned strategies and knowledge to chapter members.

  • Community Engagement: Build relationships with local organizations and stakeholders to enhance chapter impact and visibility.

  • Financial Management: Oversee the collection of membership dues and manage the chapter’s budget for activities and events.

  • Risk Management: Ensure all activities are covered by appropriate insurance and adhere to health and safety guidelines.


Qualifications:

  • Passionate about empowering young girls and aligned with the mission of the Afro Unicorn Foundation.

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience in managing volunteer groups and community projects is preferred.

  • Must pass a background check.
